European Sustainable Development Week

The ETAM Group is at a turning point in its environmental approach. In recent years, we have chosen to strengthen and speed up our short-term CSR commitments.

For this year’s European Sustainable Development Week, we wanted our employees to enjoy inspiring experiences based on the environment, sustainable fashion and the circular economy!

During the week, there were conferences on the future of fashion, workshops (upcycling, responsible consumerism, etc.), a visit to a textile recycling centre and film screenings to understand, inspire and guide our business towards responsible fashion and solidarity clothing.

As such, on 3 June, we organised a panel discussion led by Elisabeth Laville, founder of the agency Utopies, and hosted  influential entrepreneurs in the sector to discuss the topic of “How to transition to more sustainable fashion”

Our sincere thanks go to:

  • Majdouline Sbai, Sociologist
  • Alexia Tronel, Co-Founder of the brand Atelier Bartavelle
  • Rym Trabelsi, Co-Founder of Clothparency
  • Cecile Poignant, Trend Forecaster
  • Alain Claudot, General Manager of Eco-TLC
  • Jules Coignard, Founder of Circul’R

On Wednesday 5 June, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sakina M’sa, founder of her namesake brand, to present “Mode d’évasion” her film about the integration of socially excluded populations through fashion at the women’s prison in northern French city Fleury-Mérogis.

On Thursday 6 June, we had the chance to chat with Anais Dautais, founder of the brand “Les Récupérables” during an upcycling workshop.

The week was just a taster of the CSR programme to be deployed in upcoming weeks within the Group and its brands. So, stay tuned…!
