Signatory and member of the Fashion Pact governance, Etam Group, along with 70 other actors in fashion and textile, is committed to ambitious environmental goals: stalling global warming, restoration of biodiversity and ocean protection. Laurent Milchior, co-manager of the Group, has a seat at the Steering Committee of the Fashion Pact.
In May 2021, the Group signed the United Nations Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, which puts forward 16 principals aiming to make the entire sector progress in reducing its impact on climate change.
Amfori is the main world trade group that aims to improve working conditions in international supply chains. Partner and member of Amfori for many years, Etam Group entirely agrees with the principles of the organization’s founders.
The Group is a member of Textile Exchange, an international non-profit organization which promotes the responsible expansion of the textile industry and the production of sustainable textiles.
Etam Group initiated, in September / October 2020, with Paris Good Fashion, Galeries Lafayette, Vestiaire Collective, Eram Group, Petit Bateau, La Redoute and Who’s Next, a citizen consultation on responsible fashion, accessible to all on Make.org and trying to respond to the following question : « How to act together for a more responsible fashion ? »
Close to 30 000 customers and employees of the Group participated in the consultation. The results of the citizen consultation were thoroughly studied and allowed us to build 12 concrete CSR commitments.

Founding partner of EcoTLC, now known as Re_fashion, the Group sits at the Board of Directors and actively contributes to the work of the the eco-organism of the French textile industry. This includes the responsibility to support 5 000 companies in the prevention and management of the end of life of products they have placed on the market.
